Your heart is a place of love and compassion. It is home to truth and courage - your self, your inner truth, untouched by the outside world. It controls many emotions, including pain, humility and honesty. Negative emotions manifest themselves physically in muscle tension, which can lead to chronic pain and fatigue. Other consequences can include blocked digestion, high blood pressure, vasoconstriction, heart problems and autoimmune diseases. Positive emotions, on the other hand, lead to a release of serotonin and dopamine and improve vasodilation, which helps with low blood pressure and aids digestion. In addition, a positive attitude makes life and dealing with stress easier and increases the brain's ability to make good decisions. Decisions of the heart usually allow us to be fully absorbed in our actions, whereas decisions of the head cannot always be fully supported by us. Think, for example, of inner beliefs that contain "should" and "must" - this way only the head speaks and not the heart. When you are connected to your heart, you are closer to your inner truth, the place where you can let your armor down. In contact with your heart, you can get to know your deepest fears and emotions and the more you do this, the less frightening they become and the more courageous you become to live what lies dormant in your heart. 'Yoga for Love & Positive Energy' is all about 'listening to your heart'. During the class, we will work on opening your heart and connecting with yourself and the outside world. Also, we'll add a dash of positive energy so that you can hit the ground running.
