Yoga Nidra, also called "yogic sleep" is a practice of deep relaxation, where you are invited on a journey through your body, breath and other areas of your being, while lying in Savasana. During this practice, you'll be in a state between awake and asleep: Your body is sleeping, while you are still aware (of your surroundings). After a Yoga Nidra practice, you'll feel deeply rested as if you slept for several hours. Thus, Yoga Nidra represents an efficient way to get deep rest during our usually rather stressful day-to-day life.
